Who Is Elwood Flynn?

Don’t freak out, but Elwood Flynn… is British. You can’t help what you love, and I love westerns. 

In another life, under a different name – Andrew Chapman – I am a screenwriter currently working with a big director on a big film. As Andrew Chapman I wrote the books Jack’s Game and The Mask Collector. You’ll find them if you look, I won’t muddy this site with links to those books.

So why the persona? For simplicity. The Robin Castle novels are pure westerns. Nothing supernatural or spooky. I don’t want people expecting the next horror to find themselves following a man wandering around the old West shooting ordinary vicious bad guys. These aren’t horrors, they’re good ol’ fashioned pulp thrillers.
